Vinotinto FC Ecuador’s badge is a circular crest with a deep burgundy outer ring, a white inner ring and burgundy text reading “VINOTINTO FC” across the top and “ECUADOR” across the bottom. The centre contains a round field filled with repeated horizontal bands in burgundy, yellow, blue, orange and light green.

The typography is the clearest identity element in the logo. The club name follows the upper curve of the circle, while “ECUADOR” anchors the lower half, making the badge read as both a club mark and a national-context identity.

The central striped circle gives the crest its strongest graphic feature. The burgundy lines connect visually with the “Vinotinto” name, while the yellow, blue and red accents around the lower outside of the badge echo Ecuador’s national colours without turning the logo into a traditional shield.

Vinotinto FC Ecuador is the current identity of the club formerly known as Cuniburo, founded in 1992. After winning promotion to Ecuador’s Serie A for the first time in 2024, the club changed its name to Vinotinto Ecuador for the 2025 season, a move linked to its ownership change and its attempt to connect with the Venezuelan expatriate community in Ecuador.
