Telstar’s badge is a tall diamond-shaped crest split into blue on the left and red on the right, with a large golden sunburst at the centre, its rays extending across both halves. Rising out of the sun is a stylised golden torch with a red flame, while a white diagonal banner across the middle bears the black word “TELSTAR,” and the black numerals “19” and “63” sit at the lower corners.

The name and radiating sphere refer to the Telstar communications satellite launched in 1962, whose pioneering role in global TV links inspired the new club’s identity when VSV and Stormvogels merged in 1963.  The torch and sunburst reinforce themes of signal, light and transmission, turning the crest into a direct visual metaphor for the satellite that gave Telstar its name.
